Pum Chair in Solid Teak Wood

A low, curved back and gently rounded arms give the Pum chair an enclosing shape without a bulky silhouette. The upholstered seat sits within an open wooden frame, making it a considered choice for everyday dining or occasional seating in a Bangalore home.

This Eastern Edition-inspired piece is a custom-made solid wood product, made in teak wood by Gulmohar Wood Works in Bangalore. All wooden components are specified in solid teak, with fabric upholstery and padding treated as separate materials.

Original product and company credit: Pum Chair, Eastern Edition. Teo Yang is Eastern Edition’s co-founder and design lead. Gulmohar’s custom-made version is independently manufactured in Bangalore. It is not an original branded import, and no authorised association or endorsement is implied.

Photographs show the original Eastern Edition design and its timber, upholstery and finish as references; they are not photographs of a finished Gulmohar teak product.
