Jonathan Muecke | Design Profile

Jonathan Muecke works across furniture, sculpture and architecture. He trained as an architect and earned an MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art. His practice explores how a material, a repeated form and the surrounding space shape our experience of an object.

For Knoll, his Muecke Wood Collection uses cylindrical timber members and exposed intersections to give everyday furniture a distinct structural rhythm.

Gulmohar Wood Works references his designs in custom solid wood furniture made in Bangalore. These are Gulmohar interpretations, not original Knoll products or an authorised association.
